Eligibility:

Qualifications:
Management Trainee (Technical): Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Indian University/ Institute in the disciplines of Electrical/Mechanical/Production/ Metallurgy/Chemical/Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Ceramics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Civil/ Instrumentation with minimum 60% of marks in the aggregate of all years/ semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates). For Computer Science/IT discipline, those having Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (three years’ course) or Master of Science in Computer Science/Information Technology (full time course of 2 years or more duration) from a recognized Indian University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate (50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates) are also eligible.

For Mining discipline: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Mining from a recognized Indian University/ Institute with minimum 60% of marks in the aggregate (50% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates).

For Geology discipline: Post Graduate Degree in Geology from a recognized Indian University/ Institute or PG/Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines with minimum 60% of marks in the aggregate (50% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates).
Candidates in Mechanical/Production, Metallurgy and Chemical disciplines having additional qualification  MBA(Marketing) or equivalent from a recognized  Indian University/ Institute may be considered for posting in Marketing department.

Candidates having additional qualification MBA(HR) or equivalent from a recognized Indian University/ Institute may be considered for posting in HRD department.

Management Trainee (Administration) – MM – Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all years/ semesters (50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST) having:

MBA(Full time course of 2 years or more duration) with specialization in MATERIAL MANAGEMENT/ INVENTORY CONTROL from a recognized Indian University/Institute with not less than 60% marks in the aggregate of all years/semesters (50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST),                                                                                                          or

Graduate/PG Diploma in MATERIALS MANAGEMENT awarded by Indian Institute of Materials Management recognized for the purpose of recruitment to superior posts in the Central Government with not less than 60% marks in the aggregate of all years/semesters (50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST).

Management Trainee (Administration) – HR - Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all years/semesters (50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST) having:

MBA(Full time course of 2 years or more duration) with specialization in HR MANAGEMENT or PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT or LABOUR WELFARE from a recognized Indian University/Institute with not less than 60% marks in the aggregate of all years/semesters (50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST),
                                                                                                          or

Post Graduate Degree / Post Graduate Diploma(Full time course of 2 years or more duration) in HR MANAGEMENT / PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT/ INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS/ SOCIAL WORK (with HR as main subject) from a recognized Indian University/Institute  with not less than 60% marks in the aggregate of all years/semesters (50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST).

Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying examination for MT (Technical)/MT(Administration) can also apply. However, their candidature will be subject to their passing the prescribed qualification by 31st October, 2006 with the specified percentage of marks. No extension beyond this date will be given under any circumstances. They have to produce original certificates of passing the qualifying examination with requisite percentage of marks while appearing for interview.

Age :
Management Trainee (Technical): Born not earlier than July 1, 1978. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates(non-creamy layer). Additional 10 years relaxation will be given for Orthopaedically Handicapped candidates. Those domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir from 1/1/80 to 31/12/89 will be allowed 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.

Health:
Management Trainee (Technical): Candidates should be of sound health. Minimum requirements are: Height 150cms; Weight 45 kgs; Myopia and Hypermetropia, if any, not to exceed + 4.00D in each eye and no squint, no colour blindness - partial or full. No relaxation in these standards will be made. Candidates may ensure that they fulfill these standards before applying.

Selection :
The selection process will consist of:- Written Examination: Eligible registered candidates will have to appear for written test at designated center at their own expense. Written test will be held simultaneously at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad & Visakhapatnam.  Candidates are required to choose one of the cities as Test Center and no change under any circumstances will be allowed subsequently. RINL however reserves the right to add/delete any center and allocate appropriate center to the candidate at its discretion. Written tests for all posts will be held simultaneously.

The Written Test papers will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English. However, the answer script will be in English. Hindi text is provided only for comprehension of question. In the written test, there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Group Discussion / Interview: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written test and requirement will be intimated to appear for Group Discussion/Interview at a later date.

Training:
Candidates selected as Management Trainee will be placed on training for one year.

Emoluments:
Selected candidates will be on training for a period of one year in the scale of Rs.8600-250-14600/- (E-0) with a basic pay of Rs.9100/-. On successful completion of training period, they will be placed as Junior Managers in the pay scale of Rs.10750-300-16750 (E-1) with an initial basic pay of Rs.11350/-.

Besides pay, the post carries benefits of Industrial Dearness Allowance, Company House/HRA, Free Medical Benefits, LTC, Conveyance Allowance, Production Incentive, etc. and a superannuation package consisting of Gratuity, Contributory Provident Fund, contribution to Superannuation Benefit Fund, etc.

Starting date for online registration             -            25th October,2006.
Closing date for online registration             -            13th November,2006.

Last date for receipt of Registration Slip along with Demand Draft/documents -        20th November,2006.

The online registration site would be open from 25th October,2006 to 13th November,2006. All correspondence with the candidates shall be done through e-mail only. All information regarding examination schedule/admit card/interview call letters etc. shall be provided through e-mail/ to be downloaded from website. Responsibility of receiving/downloading and printing of admit card shall be of the candidate. RINL will not be responsible for any loss of e-mail sent, due to invalid/wrong e-mail ID provided by the candidate.
